Girl Scout Kayak Outing at Fenton Lake!

QWPA is heading back to Fenton Lake in the Jemez Mountains, for a late afternoon introduction to kayaking for a small group of Girl Scouts and their moms.

We'll meet our adventurers at Fenton Lake for a late afternoon introduction to kayaking. We'll cover the basics of safe and smart paddling with the 4th-graders, then head out for an exploration of the lake. Once everyone is acclimated, we'll introduce some paddling games, designed to teach the kids the fundamentals of controlling your boat. Our day at the lake will wrap up at about 7:30 PM.
