Choose your Adventure! - Anything from a couple of hours, to the whole day on the water! Please call for additional details or reservations!

Tour Descriptions:

"The Coronado" - From the put in at Algodones, the Rio Grande flows past interesting volcanic topography for a couple of miles, and features two small, Class I rapids. From Coronado Campground to Corrales the river begins to widen and slow,  winding through several miles of majestic cottonwood Bosque and flowing past several beautiful homes.

"The Bosque" - As you proceed through the Corrales Bosque Preserve, the river braids into multiple channels, and there is no visible development (you'll rarely even hear traffic) until the take-out at the Alameda bridge.

The "Coronado" section of  the Rio Grande features slightly faster water, while "The Bosque" reach provides a definite wetlands feel. Birds are plentiful throughout the entire stretch, and there’s always a chance you’ll see beaver, muskrat or coyote along the way.

"The Expedition" - If you're looking for a full day on the Rio, "The Expedition" tour provides an opportunity to float the full 20-miles of the Rio Grande, experiencing the river changing character from the narrower, quicker channel to the north, to the braided, wetlands-flavored bosque immediately north of Albuquerque proper.

Rates are per-person. Limit of one adult per kayak, or two adults per canoe. Children under twelve who float along with a parent or guardian in the same boat do so at half price (Applies to children floating along with one adult in a kayak or two adults in a canoe).

"The Coronado"  - Algodones to Corrales (Approximately three hours): $59.00 per person.

"The Expedition" - Algodones to Alameda (Approximately six hours, includes two picnic breaks): $95.00 per person.
