The Seniors of St John's United Methodist Church Float the Coronado!

Quiet Waters Paddling Adventures welcomes the Seniors of St John's United Methodist Church for a morning exploration of the Rio Grande!

After putting in among a beautiful stand of cottonwoods in Algodones, we'll experience approximately six miles of the middle Rio Grande bosque. Along with tremendous views of the Sandia mountains, this section also features several interesting volcanic features and two small, Class I rapids. At this time of year we're likely to spot several Snowy Egret, as well as the ubiquitous Great Blue Heron along the way.
