As dedicated paddlers ourselves, we have invested considerable time and effort in selecting our fleet of paddlecraft.  We utilize a very high-quality assortment of boats from among only the most reputable manufacturers. We are proud to say that we don’t offer a single boat to our customers that we aren’t thrilled to paddle ourselves.

Our Canoes

Our canoe fleet is comprised exclusively of watercraft built with Royalex construction, an engineered laminate of various materials which are carefully chosen and fused together to create desired performance characteristics. Royalex is an outstanding canoe material – lightweight, flexible and buoyant.

The Northwind by Bell Canoe Works

The majority of our canoe fleet is made up of Bell’s Northwind tandem canoes, Bell’s most popular tandem for flatwater tripping.  It's maneuverable, efficient and remarkably stable. Bell’s differential rocker design makes this boat beginner friendly, yet will delight an experienced canoeist. It’s easy to paddle in currents and choppy conditions - neither of which can ever be completely avoided.

At only 62 lbs – quite light for a 16 ½’ canoe - the Northwind is an excellent choice for a variety of purposes and our most popular canoe offering. If your experience with canoes is limited to heavier, tippier and less-expensive plastic or aluminum boats, you will be shocked by the stability and performance characteristics of the Bell Northwind.

Old Town Penobscot

Old Town’s Penobscot is a quick, nimble and amazingly durable boat for the intermediate to experienced paddler. With a sharp entry and straight keel line for speed and efficiency, it's equally at home in fast moving or still water. A little narrower and faster than the Bells, though not as stable, the Penobscot is an excellent canoe for a variety of purposes. 16’ 2” in length and only 58 lbs. makes this an excellent choice for the more accomplished paddler.

Our Kayaks

We are proud to offer Jackson Kayaks. Established in 2003 with a focus on whitewater playboats, Jackson Kayak continues to expand their offerings and now apply their innovative, out-of-the-box thinking to recreational and touring kayak design. We currently offer four of Jackson’s newest kayaks.

The Day Tripper

A wide open cockpit that makes it ½ canoe and ½ kayak allows for easy entry and exit from the boat, as well as ample room for your gear, your 4 legged friend, a kid, or all of the above.

Quiet Waters Paddling Adventures offers both the 10’ and 12’ Daytripper. The wide flat hull and high sidewalls provides incredible carrying capacity (400 pounds for 12 and 300 for the 10 footers). This is a great boat to have for friends, family, camping or fishing. It’s both a beginner-friendly recreational kayak and a wonderful fishing platform for the outdoors-lover seeking a great boat for a weekend getaway.

The Riviera

The perfect sit-on-top kayak for those looking for something stable, but probably most important to this type of kayak… COMFORT! A great kayak for the beginning paddler, yet the sleek, sporty hull design delivers speed and agility that won’t disappoint the more experienced kayaker.

The All-Water

This whitewater/touring hybrid design takes you down the river with confidence and across the lake with precision glide… all in one kayak. A step up from the hybrids of past for better speed and tracking ability, while offering the best of Jackson Kayak’s whitewater expertise and super easy to roll characteristics, assuring the paddler big gains in confidence and ability. This boat is perfect for the intermediate kayaker that wants a boat that does it “All”.
